Learn to practice with confidence in class and on your own with our teacher, Michael Pulfer. Gain an understanding of the fundamental poses and actions used to create integrity in most yoga classes, so you can focus on what your body is telling you instead of trying to understand what’s going on. You’ll be able to adapt your practice to how you’re feeling and the amount of time available to you, rather than skipping out when you don’t have time to come to the studio. Great for beginners and those looking to deepen their existing practice.

Frequently Asked Questions
I've never taken a Yoga class before. Where do I start? Just show up! Yoga is not just for fit, flexible people. Drop any expectations of yourself. It does not matter how bendy you are or what your current physical capacity is. And while you may be in for a challenge, trust that every student is getting just that! Yoga meets you wherever you are. Each time you show up gets better and better.
How do I choose which type of Yoga to try? Depending on what your intentions are with a practice, each style will offer unique benefits. Our three most popular classes are: 1. Vinyasa (our most traditional yoga flow) 2. Power (a heated athletic practice) 3. Hatha & Foundations of Movement (gentle and mindful alignment based practices). Keep in mind that finding a teacher you connect with is great and your needs will continuously change as you grow and evolve! Our new student special is valid for 10 days so you can try them all.
Do I need to sign up before? Please do!Click here to create a new account online through MindBody. This system allows you to sign up and pay for classes and events. Then download our app for super easy sign-ins and to stay up to date with the schedule - just search "Yoga Deza" from your app store. We always take walk-ins and if you do sign up online, be sure to stop by the front desk and check-in when you arrive.
What should I bring? A mat, water and optional towel (especially for the hot classes). Don't have any of these things? We have them for sale and rent. Wear something comfortable - sweat wicking and stretchable clothes are best. No shoes needed.
How often should I practice? This always depends. Many students practice daily and see incredible life results. You'll notice a difference even if you're just practicing once a week and it's really 3-4 times per week where you'll start to see your whole mind, body and spirit transform.
Do you offer private and group lessons? Yes! And they are a great option for both beginning students just starting out and experienced practitioners ready to deep their understandings. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to learn more. Ready now? You can book online here.
