I've never taken a Yoga class before. Where do I start? 80% of the work is done when you just show up! Let go of any expectations of yourself. It does not matter how bendy you are or what your current physical capacity is. Everyone in the room will be working on themselves in their own unique ways.And while you may be in for a challenge, trust that every student is getting just that. Yoga meets you wherever you are. Each time you show up gets better and better.
What if I have an injury, health condition or I am looking for a specific result from my practice? Consider a yoga therapy session before group yoga classes. While all bodies are welcome in all classes, you should consider the benefits of an individualized practice to meet your needs. How do I choose which type of class to try? Depending on what your intentions are with a practice, each style will offer unique benefits. Our three most popular classes are: 1. Flow (our most traditional vinyasa yoga flow, it's an incredibly transformative must-try) 2. Power (a heated athletic practice, great for those looking for a challenge with quick-results) 3. Yin + Restorative (our most gentle classes designed to release stress and re-pattern the body for relaxation)
How do I sign up for classes? Click here to create an account online through our client management system, MindBody. This program allows you to sign up and pay for classes and events. Can't sign up before? We always take walk-ins and either way, be sure to stop by the front desk and check-in when you arrive.
What should I bring? A mat, water and optional towel (especially for the hot classes). Don't have any of these things? We have them for sale and rent. Wear comfortable clothes - sweat wicking and stretchable items are best. No shoes or socks are needed.
How often should I practice? Many students practice daily and see incredible life results. Come as often as you can. It's really 3-4 times per week where you'll start to see your whole mind, body and spirit elevate.
